How's the work environment at Ares Management Mumbai? I've read a lot of negative review for its IT section, no work life balance, toxic environment, favouritism etc, though the pay scale is good. I'm skeptical and confused if I should get interviewed. Any suggestions is highly appreciated.Ares Management

TCS- cleared all rounds. They asked to upload documents and there will be an HR round after that. But it has been two weeks since the document was uploaded. No update. No reply on asking the status over mail. Can anyone tell if it is normal? How much time does it take to verify documents and hr round and share an offer? The status in ibegin portal is the same- Evaluation in progress!!

How to reopen timesheet ?
I gave my interview in Tata Consultancy one month back (May 28th). Now In TCS ibegin portal my status is evaluated. On july 12th Hr told me she initiated offer letter from her side. It needs to go through some approvals and it takes 2 days to time. But it's been a week, yet I haven't received any offer letter. Today I called hr, but she is not answering my calls. Will I receive offer letter ?? How many days it takes??
Agree with everyone saying WLB depends on project and manager. Plus, with the high attrition in TCS, I think there is a dearth of resources everywhere and more projects would be overloading the current resources with work.

Issue is they don't find replacement on time ,wait till exit then fill requisition to get resources
Don't worry TCS won't force you to come to office.
Feel free when you join TCS with small kids..
It's a super supportive organisation
Thanks
Who told you sis work life balance is good in TCS😯? It totally depends on the project I'm on the same boat a month back, I chose tcs over Deloitte USI. Now in tcs I'm working 12 hours a day.

Agreed with previous brother .. WLB totally depends upon the project, manager and other things.... Most importantly, your basic attitude... Leaving work at work... Work holic personality.. etc.
Take the nagarro offer if you need to be with your kid. WLB in TCS is a myth, it all depends on the project and the team. If you land up in project where workload is high your wlb will go for a toss
WLB in TCS depends on project .. if they are taking an experience resource, they will expect you to work.
You can choose wfh for now and switch once your kid start going school.

Take Navarro one as the kid is too small. Even if the load is high you will be available for your kid in person. TCS may not necessarily give you project with less load.
Working in tcs is never stress free. They make employee work for 2 or more projects parallely.Though they are having 6 lakh employees then also within account they will have scarcity of resource. In my no one knows react..and they even assigned 2 yr experienced developers as a single handedly in project .Now he doesn't have any idea to to manage it alone .

This is highly true due to current attrition.. the 6 lakh.. i believe more than 30% is juniors....tcs is not replacing people.. it's just hiring juniors.... And no new revamp of anything to replace people as well .. they are highly ignorant...

WLB depends on your manager and project... And bring a lady, if you ask for WFH and flexible timings.. they normally won't rate u well in performance appraisals as well .. (observed a lot in my experience)....
I am a delivery manager myself(resigned and in notice now).... There are multiple lady associates in my project whom we have agreed to work from home arrangements...
I am not sure about nagaroo.

Those are fantasy concepts... For talking and group discussions.. they are good. I never seen it properly implemented...
wlb totally depends on your project & manager
or at times self proclaimed team leads/seniors of your team.
in my case tcs is the worst company i joined nd its been 6 months and i am already looking for a switch
permanent work from home is better option i feel
yoe : 8.6
I am L2 in my team but it seems people come to TCS when they start planning for retirement from here so i have a L3 10 Years if experience
she is not even team lead but she herself act like one
i tried to complain supervisor but it seems she is his favourite
so rather then cribbing about and harm my own mental health i am choosing to move away from it
I am slow then others in process two L3 and one L2 Who was associated with this project for last 3 years when this project was with Accenture
so at times she complains that i logged off early 9:30 working hours, and i didnt do 15 hours worth work in 9 meanwhile she skips work with issues like
'no electricity laptop not charged'
'system running slow i'll restart and login after sometime'
'user complained her about me but she can't show me the chat because somehow chat is deleted'
so much more i can paint this thread with issues she causes but while writing this i am already annoyed so i'll stop🤣
I would advise you to join Nagarro.
Thank you for the suggestion.
Hi. I was in the same situation and was about to take this wrong decision thinking that it's good to sacrifice our career and go for tcs for more wlb. But my husband pulled me with him saying what ever happens will fix together. As of today I have good wlb, good salary and also didn't join tcs. Its all about project and not the company at all. Don't opt for tcs just for wlb. You will get that in other companies too, just choose your project wisely.
I would suggest, approach to 2;-3 Naggaro's people on LinkedIn. If you know the project you are going to join then then discuss with them. Ask about WLB and what is the pressure if WFH.
But I would suggest go for Naggaro.
Tcs and Nagarro wlb is highly depends on project.
Tcs is best to join at end.
Your Yoe ?
5 and i m into Aws Devops
If you need WLB plz go to TCS
Tcs is not providing wfh now and then again wlb totally depends on the project and manager. I worked over 4 years in TCS so i would suggest join Nagarro considering permanent wfh and other benefits.
