Real Talk: everyone complains about how many apps they send in and how many interviews don’t pan out in product. I just landed my 2nd product role in 2 years with pretty minimal interviewing. I wasn’t interviewing with or looking for a role at a FAANG or the latest greatest almost unicorn but I know what I want. I don’t think I’m great at interviewing but overall (even outside of product) I’ve gotten offers with not that much work tbh. What’s your experience here?

Not sure who would be in a position to know this, but has this been a pretty competitive in-house market the last few months? I’m in my 40s. This week we make embryos- with 7. And I guess I’m just anxious. What if nothing. What if abnormal. What if something but they don’t transfer. How is everyone dealing with maintaining some level of productivity while WFH? We’ve been working from home for almost a year now and I’m really burnt out at this point. I've gotten offers so far and have more coming for product mgr roles after being home for 2 yrs w 2 kids under 4. They are in a great daycare. However, with covid sensitivity they have had to be home 40% of days this year! COVID, HFMD, colds, etc. We are considering that we might need to shift to a nanny or a combo of nanny and a shorter/cheaper daycare so we have support when they are sick and with household laundry, cooking and cleaning.
