I have an offer from a startup with fixed 22 LPA.
Around what will be the in hand?
No epf is getting deducted, existing employees of the start up said so.

Literally feel like 😭
Until March'22 CTC = 8.5 lpa; Inhand = 59.3k; gross=62k, deduction=3.5k(pf)only
April'22 after hike CTC = 9.5 lpa; inhand = 61.1k; gross=70k, deduction=9.8k approx(3.7k pf + 5.9k income tax)😔🥵

Tax deduction in Mar = 0,
Tax for April = 5.7k😵‍💫

Pissed of like anything.

Hey fishes, can someone tell me how the 80c bracket works, i know i can get exempt upto 1.5lakh under it, what i wanna know is does PF comes under it or not? For example if my yearly pf deduction is 20k and VPF is 10k so now will i still be able to show investment of 1.5lakh under 80c apart from PF and VPF or i'll be able to get exemption on only 1.2 lakh( 1.5lakh-30k= 1.2lakh)?
