hi any accounting expert in SAP FI AA module here? can somebody tell me what is the difference between Net book value and current replacement value?

my end objective is to obtain a KPI which measures the current value of an asset in a manufacturing firm and this should include depreciation value.

from all over internet i see NBV is more suitable. but confused in a document mentioned as current replacement value.

Could someone provide a breakdown of what skills an M&A associate is expected to know by which year (i.e. by end of year 3, should be able to draft a purchase agreement, etc)?

I think it might be useful for younger associates to see what they are expected to know and by what time frame.
