Senior AE here with just under 5 years in the industry. I’m looking to move out of selling and into a sales engineer role. My current OTE is 205k, 115k Base with 90k variable. I understand that I’ll be taking a bit of a pay cut moving into a sales engineer role. I just interviewed for a Senior Sales Engineer role and their offer is 140k base + 20% bonus ($28k) + some amount of company stock (company is pre-IPO). Does this sound in line with other companies?

Just finished an interview for an AE role at a high-growth SaaS organization.

The interviewer told me that their quotas are very high - barely any of their sales reps hit quota YoY. They mentioned, “goals are high to push our reps. hence our YoY growth”

I’m thinking of taking an full time opportunity I’m not particularly excited about to get out of my current role. My interest lies in the compliance/legal field but it’s very difficult to get fellowship opportunities at my current company. I have a CFE certification, but no real experience in the compliance area. Recently gave interview for TCS, after some days one of the recruiters from tcs called me and said that since i had done only BSC-IT they will deduct 6 mnth of expirence out of the total experience so finally i will left with 1.5 yoe, so for that they were offering 5.5 lpa since.

Is ther any rule one who has odne BSC they will not consider 6 mnth experince, thats the reason they have given to me.

I have 7.5 year of experience in Microstrategy BI tool. I have got offer from Accenture for 15.96LPA and 27% variable pay. I got another offer from infocepts for 16LPA fixed with 5% variable.
