So I joined IBM five months back and just a week back I got a project.

Since my shift is 11:30 am - 8:30 pm, I started clocking in my hours in Workday from previous Monday for shift allowance and its pending for approval with my people manager.

Guys can you tell me when should we contact our manager by the end of every week or by the end of the month to get the entered time approved on Workday?

Secondly, does the people manager approve it or the project manager?

Haha it's a mix of product management, project management, product development, consulting work, technical stuff, analytical stuff. Literally anything the project needs to succeed haha

So after extensive networking and effort, I interviewed for a position at Deloitte I was eyeing since years. The interview happened a month ago. They dint reach out to me. I reached out and was informed that the position hiring is on hold. I don’t know how to infer this. Will they even hire? Should I hope or start networking and looking at other roles?

Tips please: My spouse is trying to get back to work after a 4 year break, she was a mainframe developer and have updated her skills with selenium for testing and python! Opportunities seem hard to come by, any tips to get an interview ? Barely any return to work programs for the skills set too.

YOE : 7.7Yrs , Tech Stack : JavaScript, React JS, Node JS.

I already have an offer for 26LPA (24Fixed+2Stocks),

Now EPAM ANYWHERE is offering me 26.4LPA full fixed + 75k Joining Bonus where the existing offer is not mentioned.

Will they accept Counter offer or when the DOJ is very close will they revise the package ? I am expecting a package between 29-32LPA.
