Been offered an ACD position (promotion) at another agency that offers much better work/life balance BUT the ceiling on the offer is $155K. I know it’s not all about the money but that seems wildly low. Yay or nay?

Dual role position for a sub-specialist. It’s a very busy role that includes surgery scheduling , prior auths for surgeries and tests, referrals, returning patient calls regarding their surgeries, and to add to it, reviewing the schedules for out 2 Mds, 2 PA’s, & NP. They want everything done quickly but with also close attention to details but with absolutely no overtime. Right now I make less than I feel appropriate but it’s also more than the other clerical jobs in our corporation.

A partner keeps asking me specifically why a document is drafted a certain way or things like “did we really not include X?” I didn’t draft the document, a senior on the team did who is apparently fine with leaving me out to dry. What’s the best way to handle this? Is there a way to ask the senior to address the questions without sounding too passive aggressive? Or do I just let the partner know that I don’t have insight into why since I didn’t draft it?

How much effort does it take to maintain your body? I’ve gotten pretty lean this summer after using a personal trainer, but I have a strict diet & the workouts are very intense. During the pandemic I put on weight very fast when gyms closed & realized if I’m not working out 3x minimum a week, I stay stuck at a higher body weight/fat % (about 8 pounds higher than what I’m at now). Hi all, I’m currently a year into a role at a top tier firm. Team and WLB are great but growth prospects are unclear and not a sector of long term interest.
