A hiring manager from Intel visited me on LinkedIn and scheduled an interview. The rest is history. LinkedIn happens to be the best place for job change. Make sure your profile has all the skill set you hone.

Thanks Team, i have got my resume reviewed with some of the folks, its a 3 page document explaining everything on my work/skills and achievements Also my linkedin is active with about 300+ connections. But ya, i can add skills and keep it up to date. Thanks

Adding to what others have already covered try updating ur naukri profile everyday. Even if you dont have anything extra to add just add a space somewhere or reword some of the long sentences and save.

I would have someone look over your resume/CV to make sure that's not the issue. Do you have a colleague who would be willing to give you feedback?

like

How many connections do you have on LinkedIn? Make sure you have some good ones.

I think focusing on optimizing your LinkedIn is the best strategy. What feedback did you get when you had your resume reviewed?

like

Do check your resume for spelling mistakes, formatting and the number of pages as well.

Did you get your resume reviewed by a professional resume writer or career coach?

Another route that works mostly is getting your friends referring you in other companies. I dont have a LinkedIn profile nor updated my profile in naukri. Got calls from 50% of the companies where my friends referred me

The reason i dont want to let them know what i make now is so that they dont lowball me

I’d like to leave my current company soon (complicated). I interviewed with several companies but no offers materialized (someone had more relevant experience or better fit than I). now running out of roles to apply to. There are a few companies I would have not even considered applying to initially (no industry knowledge, too far to commute, not financially stable) but now feel like I can’t be too picky. Should I just apply to every relevant role I see although I don’t think I’ll be happy there

I found out that a male friend from my start class received a comp adjustment and now makes more than me.
