Is there any hiring freeze in Oracle right now. i have cleared all rounds and bgv has also started. I have even got a verbal confirmation on offer but now the hiring manager is saying that there is a hiring freeze and it will atleast a month before it gets lift off and approval process is completed. I have an offer from Oracle. The designation mentioned in offer letter is "Member Technical Staff." In the email it was also mentioned as "Senior Software Developer". But I interviewed for Senior Automation QA. Does my job role match my designation?

I asked the recruiter and he said Senior Automation QA and Senior Software Developer are given the same designation. I'm worried if my work will be different from what I am experienced in due to the designation. Can anyone clarify?

I have joined oracle on monday. They told me the project is in Angular as I was working on Angular latest framework. Today I noticed the code on shared screen. I can not work on older technology. I have not received laptop yet and I called manager about tech stack of project then he told me that yes it is not angular project. What should I do.. should I continue here and collect laptop ? Can I change project? Is angular projects in Oracle?
