180k base + 40k RSU yearly FAANG offer VS. 220k base MBB offer: which one is considered better purely from a monetary perspective? FAANG has refresher but MBB has higher bonus right?

I’m the only black corporate associate at my firm (AM Law 200). It’s recently come to my attention that I’m getting paid the same as associates with far less experience, but still mentoring and leading on deals. Then they brought in more white associates making far more than I do, still less experience. Comp is a black box here, but I’ve managed to figure it out. Interviewing at other firms at this point. I don’t feel like asking these people to treat me fairly. Anyone else ever experience this?

31 years old making $155k base, $185k total comp. Will be getting green card next year and thinking about next steps. I know I’m behind in comp at my age compared to some of the people here. Would like to get some advice on whether I should pursue a top 20 mba will probably be 32-33 by the time or switching jobs for a pay bump. Trying to think of the best option for the long term. I am interested in moving to another state and realized that this state has one of the most restrictive reciprocity rules in the country. I've passed multiple bar exams. However, I won't get any credit for time I worked in CA because CA isn't reciprocal. I swore I'd never take another bar after taking CA - and now I have to take another exam if we move. I worked in big law in CA for two years and get no credit! Yet the exam has been waived for new grads for COVID. It sure limits our move.

I have a difficult time caring about what the business/company is doing big picture or advancing within the company. Just give me the contracts/matters you want me handle. Anyone else? Is this necessarily a bad thing?…don’t want to be married to my job.
