Hi, can someone share light on a final round interview with EY-P? What’s evaluated during a written case and a group case? How should a candidate approach it? The interview is in 3 days. TIA

What's the typical amount of time between the first interview and getting an offer?

I am noticing that McKinsey is increasingly recruiting at non-elite schools (very roughly speaking not top 15 schools). At my old undergrad, 5 years ago the most competitive firm to show up was EY. This year McKinsey took 4 non-internship full hires. Why is McKinsey going “down market” for recruiting? Are elite school kids losing interest in consulting so McK has to cast a wider net? Or is McK seeking a wider pool for other reasons? I advise undergrads on consulting so want to be best informed.

How to motivate myself to learn something new and/or prepare for the interviews 😔?

I have a final round interview at ClearView this week. I am very scared by the terrible Glassdoor reviews and the comments on this bowl.... Current/former CV consultants, is it as bad as it seems?

Hello! I am interviewing for a Senior Consultant position at EY. Does anyone have any tips or recommendations?

When interviewing how explicit/vague do you need to be in explaining work you've done with, or tangential to, the company you're interviewing with?

Hi, I’m looking to transition to trust and safety in a tech company. I have around 1 year experience in political risk and intelligence. If you or someone you know is in this field, I’d like to learn more about your background, key skills needed on the job, and ways I can better improve my skills and work experience before I start applying

Does anyone get a lot of interviews from huge companies but is terrible at interviewing? I have gotten quite a lot of phone screens, first rounds, and more… but I haven’t been successful in landing the job.

Most ridiculous questions you’ve been asked during an interview?

I gave a series of interview and submitted all documents on Accenture portal. Hr negotiated salary and confirmed on call. Now after all the efforts a different HR calls me back and reduced a major portion of CTC and said we can't offer more than this. Is this a negotiation gimmick? I told them right on the first day itself that if you can't give me my expected CTC let's not waste each other's time. Will they call back? It doesn't hurt me much as I have one more offer in pipeline.Pls help

Uber recruiter reached out to me about a Strategy Ops Manager role. They asked me my compensation requirement and stated the base is 90k, which is less than what I’m currently making at a lower level. Are they lowballing me? Should I continue with the interviewing anyways and try to negotiate in later stages?

Boss caught me on a call in the bathroom that was very obviously with a recruiter interviewing me. Trying to think of a plausible lie.

Does anyone know anything about applying to Columbia J-term? Acceptance rate is not listed anywhere, but I assume it’s higher than the regular term. Anyone successful?

For a college student interview in Midwest for internship with a very casual dressing company, should male go in with coat and button down, tie and button down or suit? Not financial services.
