I have COVID and have not been back to school since Christmas break. My district does not require a negative test to return, just 5 days of quarantine. However, I am a special Ed teacher and work with medically fragile kiddos. As a parent I would not want my child’s teacher to return to school knowing they could infect someone…does this seem right???

Anyone have experience with delinquent CLE credits? I was sworn in in fall 2019 and in around the summer/fall of 2021, took a leave of absence for health reasons from my firm for a few months. Did not realize that I hadn’t completed my 2nd Year Newly Admitted Attorney CLE requirement by fall 2021. Been a couple of months since I realized my error and have completed all outstanding credits and about to apply for a retroactive extension with NY authority. Anyone been in a similar sitch? Advice?

How much touch-up work is it reasonable for a partner to make to your work?
I work in M&A at a large global UK law firm and one of the partners that I do most of my work for has a tendency to look over my work, have me turn comments and tell me that it looks good and ready to send just to add additional wording/clauses/provisions (I know this since I’m looking into all sent documentation to try and learn and progress). Is this “normal” partner behaviour or am I just not performing? Thanks!
