Also is tax deducted on joining bonuses etc.?

Is 90k base salary plus 10k bonus a normal offer for a Senior Associate (602) CB F&BM position in Plano, Texas?

Do any of you feel like your parents treat you differently or take advantage of you after you started making a Biglaw salary? This has been my experience. The amount of times I’ve heard “you make a lot of money, you can afford _____ / should do ____with your money” is frustrating. They also broke something in my apartment and didn’t even offer to replace it (I wouldn’t have made them, but an offer would be nice).

Been at my job for ~year, and got shown up by an intern today. Now I’m imagining my bosses firing me, hiring this new kid for a lower salary & my jealousy is out of control right now.

A&M 🐠- is it normal for the offer letter to only state the base comp but say the year end bonus is up to discretion? I hear there are high bonuses but was surprised that it’s not in the offer letter.

I have 2 offers as mentioned below(1 year Internship + 11 months Full-time experience):
1. Adobe (MTS-1 Bangalore) - 15.3L fixed + 3L Joining Bonus + $27000 Stock for 4 years
2. Qualcomm (Engineer - Hyderabad)- 15.6L fixed + 5L Joining Bonus + $10000 Stock for 3 years

I joined Deloitte there, it's not allowed to put "relative" as your landlord and claim HRA even though you make rent agreement.

So I guess, my amount around ~1,80,000Rs of HRA won't be calculated automatically and TDS will happen.

I can, I believe, claim this while filing my IT Returns next year.

So question here is - what all evidence do I need to collate?
