Freshers today are getting more than 20 L.
With 8 yrs of experience you should be getting atleast 70 80L
@software developer 1. You are fortunate, smart and among the top most earning individuals.. like I said everyone is not getting that much specially people with lower package and more experience.. the upcoming generation will even earn twice as you do and that's the harsh reality..
If you are in kolkata, then 20 LPA is sufficient. If Chennai/Hyderabad/Gurgaon, then ask for 25 LPA. If pune/Bangalore/Hyderabad, then atleast 27.
I get your point, but I still feel a person earning 25 lacs won't generally prefer to travel by bus or eat roadside. (Bangalore has delicious south Indian food, cost of which is comparable or even less than the roadside meals of Kolkata) :)
designation is right in KPMG, the max for Assistant Manager will be around 25-27, they will not negotiate as you dont have a better of yet.
Congrats for the offers. Designation seems right for Accenture for 8 years.
Now use these offers to get around 3x (24L in your case) if notice period is left. Best of luck.
Lead designation is good as per your experience...and also designation depends and vary organization to organization..but Accenture has good work culture..so i will suggest you to join Accenture and try to negotiate on offer.
