BCG fish - how soon is too soon to reapply for A position? I interviewed earlier this year and didn’t get an offer. 2 years experience and wouldn’t mind the tenure cut. Looking for Northeast roles
Looking to begin a career in Financial Analytics. I am an Economics major that graduated in Dec 2020. Since then I have been an Operations Analyst at a FinTech company. I also have some past experience as an analyst at a small business lending company in college. I have been applying for jobs for the past ~6 months. I have made it to the final round of a few interviews, but have not received any offers. Does anyone have any advice for me? I would greatly appreciate any insight.
Any advice on moving on after getting multiple rejection emails? I am having a hard time, getting depressed and loosing any motivation to keep applying to jobs.
The company offered me a verbal offer for the position I applied for after several rounds of interview. A week later, they sent me a note that they cannot offer me that role and downgraded me to a lower role, a role below my current role. How should I respond? I am so angry they wasted my time.
It’s amazing that you can go through four rounds of interviews for a position and then never hear from a firm again. It’s happened two times now: one was B4 and one was industry. Talent has no time to send a boiler-plate “we’ve selected another candidate” email? The level of unprofessionalism is mind-boggling.
I recently lateraled to a new company and despite amazing vibes in the interview process, I don't feel like I fit in with my team at all. They have a strong, tight-knit camaraderie and I feel left out, even compared to others who recently joined. Also finding it tough to get work and stay looped in when I am given work, which also seems unique to me compared to other new-hires. Should I express my concern or just wait it out and hope things improve? Any advice otherwise?
Are Darden R2 interview invites already all out?
Need some advice looking for exit opportunities/networking in Los Angeles. Currently finished all sections of the CPA and attempting to network with recruiters on LinkedIn but no responses/connections yet. Been applying on job sites but any tips would be appreciated.
So I started a new job 2 months ago. It’s going pretty well. But then glassdoor sent me a notification that seemed like a really good opportunity and I applied out of curiosity. Turns out I have an interview with them tomorrow. My question: does this look bad on me knowing I just started a new job?
VMW <> Elastic. Going for interviews in Tanzu VMware and Elastic. Which one would you focus your prep efforts in?
Does anyone have any tips on updating your resume to get a job at a company such as stripe or ramp? Having trouble getting an interview
Interviewed with a hiring manager at Uber last Thursday. I haven't heard from the recruiter on the next step. Is it safe to assume that I haven't passed? If proceeded, I am supposed to receive a take home assignment and am not sure if I should prepare for that.
Anyone else good at their job but bad at interviews? Confused because I consistently get rated gold standard, early promo, well liked by teams, but I’ve failed interviews with 20 companies, hit 6 final rounds in the past three months and didn’t get any of the positions. Feedback is always “we like you but you aren’t the right fit.” Just looking to see if this is common, or if I’m just socially inept and need to hire an interview coach or some shit lol
Interviewing with a few firms for Workday Engagement Manager positions. Any feedback on Mercer or Cross Country? What should I expect salary wise. 3 years of Workday experience and 15 years of ERP software experience. Thanks
Any tips for getting your spirits up or making yourself more cheerful going into a big presentation or interview?

Can't wait for the annual Thanksgiving rant from some random uncle about how we're the "real Indians" and how unjust it is that we were robbed of our identity on Thanksgiving.
Despite being fully vaxxed and not immunocompromised, my spouse is terrified and paralyzed by COVID. She won’t leave the house and we regularly fight about her March 2020 style lockdowns on our family (bleaching mail and groceries etc). I’m concerned because she’s been getting dark hints from work that it’s going to affect her career (she works in sales). Her take is “If they fire me because I won’t see customers, my safety is more important.” Really at my wits end and don’t know what to do.
Making a switch and looking for a referral to EY Parthenon, anyone willing to help me out?
Ughhhhh clients that come back with feedback on the final deliverable 3 weeks after the project has ended and expect you to make the updates within 2 days 😑😒
Actual, genuine advice requested - no trolls please. Client is insisting coming back to my hotel room. I want to keep things professional and have a gf. After a drunken dinner: advice please?

Does anyone else have more anxiety in “low-stakes” social situations such as happy hours compared to in meetings or for public speaking? It seems like it’s opposite for most people
McKinsey folks, how do Implementation Coaches fit in to the steps of BA and Associate? BA is 0-3 years exp, associate 5+, but implementation coach is 3+? The role description looks like it's a sales role more than training leader, but not exactly sure what this role is for?
Hey 🐠s - I’m validating an idea for my startup, what are some industries that support virtual 1:1 interactions with consumers and sellers of services. For example, connecting with therapists or doctors - there are now several online platforms to find and book therapists or even for doctors.
For my motorcycle peeps, looking to buy a beginner bike. Looking at either the Harley Davidson Iron 883 or the Honda Shadow Phantom. Any insight would be great!
Anyone go from consulting to get an MPP or MPA? Thoughts? I'm looking to get a job in gov at some point.
Anybody for ATK willing to have a chat? There’s a few roles I’m interested in and want to understand a bit more about them and the firm. Let me know!
Happy 4th to our mates across the pond 😂🇬🇧 1-0
