Between two offers, "Associate Principal" for m&a consulting in the Healthcare industry vs a Director at a F300 company doing M&A and Partnerships. Consulting pays about 50k more. What does the future look like in consulting? I am a bit nervous jumping from from "industry side" to the "consulting side".

For moms who have delivered before, I am terrified of the delivery. That day haunts me. Hi! I am currently in the Healthcare space but would like to move into recruiting in the tech space (companies like NetApp or similar). This upcoming year our school district is trying early release every Wednesday. I find it difficult to cover all the standards in a high school math class, and now I am concerned with having to modify/reduce our curriculum. I joined EY as a Manager 2 months ago and new to consulting. Leading a project in a new area with 2-3 streams, with no seasoned folks in team. Within weeks they started asking me to own other initiatives saying only project work is not enough. I am still learning about EY, consulting, and work streams in my project while virtually WFH.
