Why not introduce reporting and analytics at your current company? If it’s a gap they have and you recognize that gap, coming up with a plan to get them started on that path with even simple standardized reporting and dashboards with a few defined metrics might be exciting for you and valuable for them. Sometimes the best jobs are the ones you can create for yourself.
Great response.
SEMrush, Ahrefs are also good tools to learn
I would also suggest considering learning analytics tools like R, Python, SQL too. We use a lot of these languages in marketing analytics and these skills are applicable across many fields. You can then use sample data like on Kaggle to begin building a portfolio and using data to tell marketing and business stories for practice.
Just learning the languages and building a portfolio would be enough to start applying for jobs. So, if you were to hire, would you consider me for the role, if I have these skils with no background or anything?
I think the questions would be based on your knowledge with application. So you should be able to share that you can use those skillsets with a marketing hat on. Analytical skills are great but what really makes a candidate stand out is how they can explain what they'd do with those tools specific to the role

I just hired someone who just had a desire and wants to grow in that space. Apart from his marketing background, we both learn as we go because we are a start-up.
Hopefully, this helps you pursue your ambition.
