Hello fishes, I am working at IBM as a Data Scientist and currently on bench. I will be resigning today as I have a better offer in hand right now. Wanted to know if I have to serve entire notice period of 90 days even when on bench or IBM gives early release ?

I was just forced onto a project I hate and does not align to my skill set, and I feel I can make a case for why I should be rolled off and onto a more appropriate project given my experience and certs. I’m concerned that it’s going to affect my year end and burn some bridges though. Can I get some other opinions on if I should jump ship or tough it out for 3/4 more months.
