Honestly short term it may not be worth investing to lose liquidity. This is money for a condo so you want to be very conservative in that regard. A couple months of returns will probably be minimal at best.
ACN stock brah.

I would not worry about investing in any where else if it’s for 6 months. There is a chance market can go down. If you are not looking for long term you should not take that risk.
Invest in low risk ETFs. Should give you a solid 5-7% return on it
Lmao. Seriously? Solid 5-7% return?
I would like to see what happens if there is a market correction in the next 6 months as the Fed tapers bond buying?
Any money that’s needed in the next year should be kept should in cash or cash like equivalent so the best bet is a savings account. Yields are at historic low but your principal is safe.
How’re you moving the money from India, OP? I’m in a similar situation.
Not sure as of now but probably will use ICICI bank.
Open a cryptocurrency account and invest in USDC. Gives you 8-9% interest without any price risk (ie USDC price is stable at $1). Of course, there’s counterparty risk as your money gets lent out to others which is why you get interest
That's Hella savings..great work and inspiring!

Oh boy.. You might end up paying a good amount of tax on the $50K you're planning to get from India to the US. Consider putting aside some money for that tax liability.

Invest FD in India in Reliance. Liquidate post 6 months.
Another way is to invest in money market funds (not sure how to though). Don’t invest in US treasuries as there’s price risk
