Please raise your son yourself for a few months before putting him on prescriptions or getting him diagnosed.
Not personal experience, no. But not all kids are the same. I wish you good luck and praying for your boy
My daughter used to repeat everything instead of answering. It will get better. I think it’s their way of processing new words or information.
She is now 3.5. Repeating continued for 6 months or so. Started around when was 2.5. It didn’t complete go away but exponentially better. We were super concerned. I understand what you are going through. Get the evaluation done. It’s a long questionnaire that you fill and send it back to them.

While I am getting the evaluation done (there is a 6 month wait). Wondering has anyone experienced something similar, what have you done to manage this? I am so stressed reading on internet. Our biggest worry is daycare regression, any help will be appreciated. Thanks!
I empathize with you. Stay positive, he was fine before, maybe separation, New environment etc is playing a part. Pull him from daycare immediately and monitor progress, then see a pro. Be wary of putting him on any pills etc

C1, I disagree with you on holding the day care responsible for this “regression”. This has nothing to do with whether OP keeps the little one at home or not.
Op you are on the right track in terms of getting your little one evaluated. My nephew is autistic and as a baby he would never make eye contact or smile as much. Did your kid do the same as a baby?

Its most likely just a phase op
One of my close friends son used to repeat everything we say. Until he was 3 or so. Now he is 4 and half and completely fine no repetition of words.
Don’t worry I am sure your son will be just fine. As others mentioned please take him out for day care for sometime and monitor his progress.
Please go through the evaluation- it will definitely give you peace of mind
