Hi - does anyone know if US Consulates in Mexico are accepting Third Country Nationals (TCN) for visa stamping? H1B Renewal.

I’m currently on H1B so will need to transfer & eventually request this new company to sponsor GC for me. I thought GC especially is location based & PERM testing would be more difficult if remote...

Do I need a new H1B Stamping? I extended my visa last year (new expiration date: 2024 Summer) and got my visa stamped accordingly. Since then, I changed firms and transferred my visa, which now has a different expiration date (i.e 2024 Winter). I honestly don’t know why the date got longer with just a transfer. Anyway, would I need to get my visa stamped again since the date of current i797-A (winter 2024) is different from my previous i797-A/latest visa stamp?

Has anyone paid for premium processing for their I-140 out of pocket? EY filed my I-140 in June 2021 and is working on my I-485 now. I asked if I can pay for premium processing since the Texas processing center takes 11-13.5 months but I am not sure it will be worth it if the I-485 takes a long time. Thanks!
