In CTI, I got 115K for C12 FTE. Mind you, I have many years of experience and a PhD. They didn’t have a C13 available and felt I was probably a better fit for a C13. However, I just wanted a job that is not managerial, and I got the top of the range, which was indeed 115k for C12 in Irving, TX.

Is it the smart move to take a pay cut and clerk for a judge?

Little context: I was an ED student, full time paralegal/clerk throughout my law school experience, and a single mother. I did not take advantage of the law school extracurriculars and missed out on clerk application deadlines my final year (2020). Would it benefit me to take a pay cut as a transactional clerk by about $20k to work as a clerk for a year then re-enter firm life? I’m transactional and enjoy that line of work.

Hello Gang, Trying to evaluate a offer I just received. The offer need to relocated from Minneapolis to Palo Alto area. Tech company. HR roles(title downgrade). YOE 6. Base comp is 125k with 10% bonus and 15k RSU. Not sure if this is enough for married couples, early 30 no kid but plan to have family. Total house hold pretax 250k. We feel this might not be enough from the post we see. Should we make the move? Though please

Hi fishes! Nagarro declined the counter offer letter ₹33,00,000 + shares worth 4.5LPA

I've 6+ yrs experience (mobile dev.)

Nagarro offered 18LPA. Initially I told HR for 22 but he mentioned 18 into their internal portal to their senior so after clearing all interview rounds I got 18.

When I asked the HR, he told me to accept it for now and bring the counter offer letter so they can revise offer letter.

But now they declined. Weird.

Found a random engagement ring.

Hi all, so I found a platinum ring (which I assumed it's an engagement ring as it has dates and initials engraved on top.) And a Divvy tag (I have no idea what it was until I googled it. Apparently it's a bike sharing service in Chicago) in a briefcase I ordered online. I was thinking of returning the item back to the store but that wouldn't help the person who lost the ring. Attached is a picture of them.

What should I do now?

**I'm not in Chicago

A great opportunity with a top brand has come up. I have not actively looked to make a move, but this role and brand looks really promising with a greater earning potential. Down side is I would need to relocate which I do not want to do and would be a challenge for my wife’s job . I had my first interview today for a director position I would consider a dream role, and it went well. They want me to talk to the VP, but I found out I would definitely have to relocate to a different state to execute tasks.

The salary is within range of what I would accept, but I just moved to a different state.

I want to leverage this, and follow up with the hiring with another place (similar position in my current city and state) I haven’t heard from yet. Do you think that’s wise to do?

I’ve been offered a position that I’m really excited about. Their initial offer was 10K more than the top of the salary range they gave me for the position when I asked during the interview process and at the top end of the salary requirements I set for myself. My partner thinks I should still negotiate for more even though I’m happy with the offer. Am I an idiot if I don’t negotiate in this case? Realistically, I don’t think I’d get much more than that, but should I negotiate out of principle?
