I have done with all the rounds for SRE position with Oracle. I have uploaded all the documents for the bgv in the first advantage url. It's been 15 days. Since then I didn't receive any communication. The director told initially when he started the offer roll out process that there is a freeze going on and needs to get the approvals to get this done. How many days will it take to roll out the offer basically with Oracle India. Can some one please help me with info.

Applied for a position in Johnson and Johnson Canada. Reached the final round 3 weeks back. After not getting any updates I emailed the HR a couple of weeks back. They responded back telling me that they’ll have an update for me the next week. Again I emailed them on Thursday asking if they have anything for me before the long weekend ( Good Friday & Easter). No response whatsoever. Will emailing them again be inappropriate? I desperately need this job

Recently hired a consulting firm for basic process mapping project (4 team members).

They roll in 4 deep to every meeting. They marketed themselves as expert in process mapping and SMEs but really seem lost. Still trying to come up with a project plan after 3 weeks.

I have empathy bc I have been on the other side of this myself as a consultant new to a project, but on this side it just seems laughable. It definitely appears they are working crazy hours too for no meaningful output.

Presently working as a manager in one of the big 4 technology consulting firms in oracle EPM. Got an interview call for role of application manager. Needed some insights about the four rounds of interview and also the kind of questions that maybe asked as a part of the interview process.

6 years at a start up and the first to break through Mm and now Ent accounts. I broke the comp plan. I was paid a lower commission rate as the first rep hitting high numbers. The guys behind me they adjusted commission rates and spiffed them to equal and in some cases surpass my pay. My revenue as the top rep is a full third higher than the number 2 rep. To save their asses they promoted me and gave me a small base bump but kept my commissions % low so that my high number was my new at plan.

I have a question about audit in Europe. Is the work life balance just as bad? As the stereotype goes, they work as a means to live rather than living to work. If that is true, what is different if the type of work is more or less the same?
