I recommend an acquaintance (cousin of good friend) who worked in “private banking” at a reputable firm for an associate position in Corp banking industry group where I was also an associate (now VP).

Potentially will have to stay till Friday instead of usual m-th travel at client site. My SM wasn’t that clear but said we will probably need to. Do I book hotel out to checkout Friday or text SM/ask?

A here👋🏻 looking for RFP etiquette - I came across an RFP that were not pitching for. The whole project is too small. But a friend of mine who runs a much smaller company could take on a portion of the project - an adhoc request. I want to give him a heads up but I’m not sure how RFPs work. Can any agency just pitch it if they find the requirements document? Or do they need a relationship with the client?

Looking for career advice. I am an analyst and have worked at my company for just over a year, I have a bit of prior experiences in other fields.
Currently interviewing and if I have an offer, should I switch to a government role with the same pay rate (probably less promotion opportunities but more stability).
