Recently graduated with an MA and was excited to work remote as a strategist or analyst at the big name agencies. Suddenly, no one seems to be hiring remote anymore, and I’m repeatedly being asked to relocate and come in person.
I know my work is doable remote. I’ve been doing it well for two years at various agency internships. Is it unrealistic to stick with the remote dream and keep searching, or do I cave and consider relocating?
First time poster and any advice would be amazing. I have been the TSE path for 5 yrs and rose to be Principal SME Analytics (3 YOE). The past 2 yrs, my dpt. has been plagued with under-performers, lack of group synergy, resurfacing product/arch. issues, and the fact there is no more vertical movement to be had. All of these things together make me feel trapped in my position and I dont really know what to do. For the first time in my career, I dont know my next career role/corp. What do I do?

At what point in your career did you feel ready for kids? I just started my 3rd year as a tax senior and recently got married. I’m turning 28 next month and definitely feel pressure against the biological clock. I know conceiving could be be difficult so on one hand I want to start trying soon, but on the other hand I feel I’m too early in my career.

16” as a carry-on?
I am looking to buy a new carry-on that is 16” and just noticed the standard carry-on size is 14x22x9. Curious to see if anyone has a 16” and has ever not been able to use it....
Sports should be a way for everyone to come together for a few hours and root for teams; instead it's become a divide and an ugly conversation about race.
