I work at a large Fortune 50 company. Getting more and more frustrated about endless bureaucracy, constant political power struggles, lack of resources for basic compliance programs, and constantly playing whack-a-mole for issues we should be proactively addressing. Left BigLaw for better work life balance but not finding it. Is that because I’m in BigCorp? Do the same issues prevail in smaller private companies?

I am an inventory control manager with 9 years of inventory management, purchasing, and warehouse management (7 yrs military 2 yrs private). Looking to transition to supply chain management such as planning or procurement but having no luck. Any advice or suggestions on how to move forward in my job search? Any recommendations of positions I should be applying to?

Over the last few months my job work load has increased to helping more teams and I have been brought on to be a major voice on a product transition (I am one of three non managers helping make the decision and have more responsibility on the project then half the managers. The company is global (30+ teams)) and I can see that it will increase over the next months. The company I work for is known for not promoting internally easy. Anyone have any advice on how to make the transition easier?

Has anyone transferred a cpa license to CA? I have my license in another state and have all requirements but the accounting ethics class and ethics exam. But there was some funny language in the handbook stating they wouldn't recognize the cpa exam results if I didn't meet the educational requirement prior to sitting for the exam. Would I have to take the ethics class and exam AND retake the full cpa exam to be licensed in ca?

Hello! I am graduating this coming December with an M.S in Biomedical Engineering (Emphasis in Comp. Sci.) and B.S in Computer Engineering. I have had 5 internships at a pretty cool company (I would say), but have recently discovered the world of product management and got to experience a small taste of it through a role in a startup project.
