You just need more opportunity to practice socially. Public speaking and socializing can even be hard for some when it’s in their first language.
Consider joining Lexody where you can meet up with people in person and exchange skills in your native tongue while they help you with English. You choose a place and time (eg cafe or bar) and divide the hour into half English, half the other language you have in common.

I have no suggestions, I just want to mention that from the perspective of a native English speaker, I’m only ever impressed by people who can speak multiple languages and doubt that others think you don’t sound smart!
hello! am also a product designer and communication is a vital part. I understand your concern as I struggle as well. I would say practice is really key here, try to be more involve in work especially when explaining your projects, prepare for speaking notes even though its not impromptu its still practice. Observe people who speak fluently or even ask someone you find good at speaking or presenting. go to social events in-person or virtual. try networking events and meetups. also you dont have to speak fast. pause if needed, so you can think about how you can present your thoughts. hope this helps

Hola!
I am from Colombia and I have only lived in the US for 5 years, previously to that, I didn’t really speak English fluently, so it has been a struggle to me as well.
I understand your concern and it’s good that you are self aware of your speaking so you can improve it, but one thing I want to mention is that you are probably being super hard on your self and not acknowledging that speaking another language is freaking FANTASTIC and most of the time, people don’t even catch the mistakes you caught because we are our own worst critics.
I think we put our own limitations and that is something that doesn’t let us advance. You have to choose not to care about that and focus on your own progress instead on your own limitations.
I learned this and much more with Elize UX. https://www.elizepresents.com
She has a public speaking course that changed my life.
In the course, she gives you tips of how to improve your communication, your storytelling, your confidence, your tone of voice, and many other things. I highly highly recommend that to anyone.
It changed my life, literally. I was limiting myself to stay at this job because I was comfortable enough to speak and present to people I already know and in my mind I was ashamed of my English and I thought they were doing me a favor by giving me a job. Turns out that I was a great speaker and I needed a lil boost of confidence and some tips of how to present better. I decided to look for a job and I did great in the interviews and specially in my portfolio presentation. Everyone kept telling me that they loved the storytelling behind that. I got an offer and I doubled my salary!
Let me know if you want to talk more about this, happy to jump on a call with you and talk more 😊
Hello thank you for sharing your story, it's so powerful, and it feels like you took words out of my mouth. I do sometimes feel like this job was given to me as favor huhu. Your story makes me feel hope :) I'll be sure to check out Elize :)
