Hi everyone! First time poster who is feeling a bit lost. I was with an RPO in the sourcing department, which has recently folded. I would love to stay RPO and ideally full cycle, but technically have only about 9 months exp, though I had years of high profile public relations and event planning experience before becoming a stay at home parent 10 years ago. Any recommendations for an RPO that would take a chance on someone like me? Mix of overqualified, but also very under qualified?

Hello, hoping for some input on how to time a job change. At a startup - we are doing well now but unless we have complete turnover in management I don’t think we have a bright future post-COVID. I could coast here 1-2 years before having to look. I’ve been here for a little under a year. This is my second in house job after 10 years at the same firm. The market is hot now, probably won’t be in 1-2 years and I am getting interest for good roles. OTOH I don’t want to look like a job hopper.

I have been working with a company for about 6 years as a Recruiter but I don’t feel I’m gaining the best recruiting experience due to so many limitations our company has. I’ve had to teach myself Boolean searching to be more active in recruiting. I have not had the luxury of someone to truly mentor me into a Recruiter so I’m trying to find any way I can learn and be more employable. Any advice? So my daughter is starting at Deloitte in two weeks and as a in house recruiter all I have to say is their onboarding is AWFUL. I would expect more from this organization. She is so confused about where she is suppose to be her first week. Emails from corporate tell her she needs to be in Chicago but then local emails tell her there is a new hire event happening in her local office. Deloitte do better. lol. You need to assign some kind of onboarding person to the new hire cohorts.
