Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. For me, I dislike drafting the spec to explicitly recite the basic things it does, eg, server talks to client to do <basic action>.
