MBA with Business Analytics might be a better choice, since it would include coursework on R, Python, Natural Language Processing, Database Management Systems and Business Intelligence tools. In addition, Business Analytics goes much in depth with topics related to Causal testing (A/B) and prescriptive statistics which is typically not a part of OB coursework.
Deloitte's Strategy & Analytics wing of Consulting is a great option. But internal roles seem more interesting for Analytics and organizations like Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Banking (JP Morgan, Wells Fargo), video gaming companies (Activision, Blizzard etc) are all actively looking for People Analytics Specialists.
I have seen titles like HR Analytics, People Analytics, People Insights, Talent Analytics and Workforce Analytics, to name a few.
Tks for your suggestion. I have always been intrugued by the investigative and analytical side of things and do love analysing data, but i feel im better at qualitative than quantitative aspects in that field, so i was trying to narrow down a career path that circles around the degree. HR Analytics and People Insight sounds intriguing. I gotta look into that. Thanks so much D1.
