Hi everyone! I am about 8 months into my job as a BDR. my first job! It pays well and i love my coworkers. Its also fully remote which is nice bc i love flexibility. The problem i’m having is i dont really enjoy the job. I hate objection handling, and I get so stressed that i wont hit my goals. I also dont really like my AM i work with. I want to do a career path switch and I dont want to be an AM/SE. What are roles I could easily switch to?I thought about recruiting too but eh. please help!

I do mass/class cases and hold a couple leadership positions (these were competitive to get). What should salary be and when should I make partner. I’ll add I work remote and pretty autonomously. I’ve applied to a job I’m qualified for, description is DMV or remote. I’m not in the area but have WFH experience so I messaged the recruiter on LinkedIn who asked for my resume. After sending my resume they say the job has changed to DMV only. I check the job posting on their site and it still says DMV or remote.

Property and Casualty license. I decided to get into insurance after 10 years of retail. This is whole new industry for me so a little nervous about the classes to get this license. I was always a C grade kid in school and never really did well in test. I’m not a dummy though. I can pick up things if I see you do it and me try it after. I am a very visual learner and am able to learn new things. Wondering what’s your experience was with classes and test?

My management sent us a link to register for Clockify. Does anyone use this? What are they able to see/track?

I just took a new job and the OTE is less than agreed to after going through the comp plan. Also the recruiter told me 50% of people were hitting their quota and no one was less than 70% last year. However I found out the last 6 months everyone is less than 10%. I know get that recruiters can mislead with performance metrics but giving the wrong OTE seems super unethical to me.
