I dont understand why EY GDS conducts “No show Interviews”.

Would you hesitate to hire someone due to typos on a business plan? My resume is spotless, & I come highly recommended by management and peers for the position. This week has been absolutely exhausting, and long story short, I noticed I misspelled “Houston” as “Huston” on the FIRST PAGE of my business plan.. TWICE!! 😩 I can’t believe I let that happen during such a critical interview. It was spelled correctly everywhere else, but it just looks sloppy. I am worried I am not going to get the job.

Have any of you made the switch from a non-technical role to something more technical? I'd love to learn from your experience and hear how you went about it!

I gave a salary range to a couple recruiters for digital consulting positions and am not sure if it was relatively close to market value or not. Would you think this (admittedly wide) range is high, low, or reasonable? Any advice is appreciated!

- Both roles are for boutique digital consulting firms in Chicago
- Consultant 1 positions requiring 3-5 years experience
- My range: $100k-$120k base
- I have 4 yrs experience, 2 of which in a BA/Product owner role (non b4 accounting firm)

For Nov 2022 I am on track to bill 170 hours after today, with an additional 100 non-billable, which includes a bunch of various DEI commitments. Does anyone else feel uncomfortable when interviewees ask about diversity at your firm/office? I grew up in a very white area, and I don’t really notice/get bothered by lack of diversity.
