Hi! I just accepted a Relationship Banker II role in Allen, TX. My offer letter was 50k base and 1k guaranteed commission a month first year. I just graduated w a degree in Business Administration. Basically the info I got on how commission works was pretty vague. Anyway I wanted to see what someone I’m their 1st or 2nd year can realistically expect to on average make in commission a year in this role. Also what do bonuses in the role look like? I’m hoping to just hear some ballpark numbers! JPMorgan Chase JPMorgan Chase

In the mix, I generally recommend:
- a headline campaign that shows you can write
- a stunt/activation that shows you can be innovative
Beyond that, NGO/cause campaigns are nice. Good to have some social pieces, or even a social/digital focused campaign as well.
I would focus on campaigns over blogs and articles personally - a lot of CDs won’t take the time to read them. The goal is to be able to have them click on a campaign, see the first piece, and get it in an instant.
Thank you again!
Look at these portfolios. Study them. This is what you should strive towards in terms what to add. Perhaps think of taking some courses to help build your book. https://brandcenter.vcu.edu/recruiters/student-portfolios/
Cool, really go if you can cause building a portfolio by yourself is tough and very few people actually succeed.
If you're looking for a junior role, the basics will do. The most important thing is to have the passion to learn and do more. If you've that zeal, a lot of people will find you as an interesting and good candidate. Nevertheless, blogs, articles, social copies should do good to begin with. If you've something better, nothing like it.
Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate your help 😊.
