Have a Facebook (Meta) Product Manager interview coming up. Have 9 YOE, 4 post MBA at EYP. Any tips for the upcoming interview? Recruiter reached out to me bc I have product experience pre-MBA and helped write a book on product management. I’m in the general route, not tagged to a specific product yet.

When is Zenith going back to the office?
I actually know of 5 people who got their MHA at Scranton. 3 of them are VPs and all graduated from their program within the last 5-10 years. The 4th is a business analytics manager making +$150k and also graduated within 5-10 years. And finally the other got a project manager role straight out of the program at about $75k/year.
When I first saw "Scranton" I thought of the Office and chuckled to myself but after seeing the folks above - especially the VPs - I stopped laughing and thought... really? I could have just gone to an online MHA instead of a 2 year brick and mortar school?
I'd target an MHA/MBA program if you're more focused on salary potential.
Good luck!
SUNY has an amazing program. If you can manage to get in, I would highly recommend it.
An old coworker did the bridge program at Buffalo, the bachelors to masters in one shot. I looked at New Paltz as well but it seems like their program is still somewhat new. Zicklin right now is still my top choice due to the reputation, location to me and cost. I also went to a different CUNY school so I at least have some idea of what to expect.
I mean is this worth the debt?
For the CUNY/SUNY programs I’m not worried about it, I worked 2 jobs in college and graduated with sub $25k debt I paid off with pandemic OT. Now that I’m making more money and starting to climb the management ladder, I wanna make sure I can keep climbing without getting hit with the “oh but you don’t have a masters” that I’ve been hit with and others I’ve worked with have been hit with.
I would go for the CUNY program due to reputation and location in NYC. Never heard of Scranton, reminds me of the Office. Buffalo is a dump no offense.
All of the programs I’m looking at with the exception of Zicklin are online, I knew a lot of people from my high school that moved to Buffalo for school and moved out asap right after, I’ve heard enough to know I don’t wanna go.
I think posting this in the Career Advice for Students bowl will offer better insights.
