Hey all-
Have an upcoming Netflix interview coming up and I want to chat with some folks from Netflix to make sure I’m well prepared.
Interested in talking to any product managers, senior engineers/engineer leaders, and TSMs. I’d love to get something on the books soon.
Thanks!

You should look into some Google certs to help upskilling and getting more familiar with the industry
Definitely will look into that, thank you!
Try to leverage your comm and admin experience into something analytical. Focus on how the company’s communications are driving their business. Google analytics, Facebook analytics, advertising ROI, etc.
Hmm..okay, I will look into that. Thank you!
I would narrow down what you’re looking to do in tech. Tech is a huge field with dozens of completely different jobs. If you can pick 2/3 “dream roles” I’d look up the junior roles. Example, I’m a project manager, so I started applying for project coordinator (junior pm) roles. Hope that helps!
This was very helpful! If you don’t mind me asking, did you need any specific experience or did you get certain certifications to land a job as a project coordinator?
As a project coordinator? No, I was in your position lots of customer service. Not sure where you are located, but I’d look at non-profits what you don’t get in money, they will take a chance on you for lack of “traditional experience”. Just know once you get the experience, you have to leave to make more money!😂
Yes, I’ve considered internships and been looking at some on LinkedIn but alot of them want you to still be in college or graduated in 2021 or 2022 😩 Going to continue to search though!
I recommend looking into Project or Product management, Certified Scrum Master, your Communication background would be utilized.
Thank you!!
I think I should also mention that I’m looking to get into a position where I do not have to talk to customers on the phone all day anymore
