Hello from San Diego,
Recently separated from the Navy after 10+ years as a hospital corpsman. I have my degree in healthcare administration. I have years of leadership experience, leading teams, managing clinics etc. Having a hard time finding a job. Is anyone hiring or know of someone?
Positive sign if you negotiate/know your offer before you head to hiring committee? Or does it not really matter?
WFH has really changed the sales dynamic ..I can’t get anyone on the phone my emails are going no where ..struggling to get meetings. I am@doing Social Selling (i think) …does anyone have any recommendations, what’s working, any tech your using anything?
My EOY review is coming up. Here I plan to lobby for a promotion/raise (been at company for 1.5 yrs). Some backstory: During my hiring process I was told by my now boss and VP they were also going to hire a senior engineer to help me along. They never hired such senior engineer because I have over performed and do more than they thought I could (have been told this in 2 performance reviews). Thus, is it fair to ask for a raise and promotion to Senior engineer?
Consultants exiting to Salesforce, what are the positions you typically apply to?
Seeing a lot of positions but non is a clear strategy role similar to consulting.
I have two things i want to know!
1. I have a an interview with Disney coming up for a Comms strategy specialist. How should I prep for that?
2. I want to apply to Microsoft for a Comms Manager role. I am having a hard time on finding the right people to network with for a referral/how to stand out from the crowd.
So if anyone has any tips or people i can talk to would be great!!

I recently started a new role at senior level and feel a bit out of my depth…I’ve not contributed as much as I have liked on this project, but have definitely delivered. Shall I stop beating myself up about it?
My role was just eliminated, and I need to replace it quickly. I have a solid lead on a new job but based on the job description I think it’s gonna be a lot less than I was making. I’ve seen people on one of the bowls mention working 2 full time jobs, like in different time zones or countries. Does anyone have any concrete advice on how to start that process? Any guidance is greatly appreciated!
What are the best non-consulting companies to work for that allow remote work and are not faang? I don't care if it's development or cybersecurity. I have years in both as well as startup experience. Looking at options.
I know my client needs an Accounting Manager. I know this because they’re startup med device company that has their books in complete shambles. The current accounting team isn’t very strong. How do I let the client know that I would be interested in joining them? They’re not actively recruiting for any position but I know they’d benefit from it. Serious responses only :)
I have been working at a new company for about 3 months now. While I have tried to adjust to the new environment, I have struggled immensely as I have a largely unavailable boss and the company culture is much more hierarchical and stress inducing than I anticipated. If I left, would it be difficult to find a new role? Would the 3 month blip just be too glaring for recruiters? For context was at my last company for almost 4 years.
Has anyone had any success from moving from an EB specialist role to an Human Resource role without starting at an entry level position? If so, how did you do it?
What is the max salary that a Senior Manager with 15years of experience can expect from Adidas Germany? The role will be that of a senior Scrum Master.
They have asked me for a salary expectation and I have got no clue.
Thanks in advance.
I work for a company with a pretty generous PTO policy and a mostly remote flex policy (4 days a month in office if within 75 miles of the building). One thing I’m wondering if there is a way to help us I get the “I’m taking a mental health day” call out regularly which causes a strain on the rest of the team because we were unable to prepare like we would with pre-planned PTO. Any ideas of things I can do as a manager to encourage pre-planned PTO instead of these call outs?
Can anybody refer me for Entry level Fund Accounting role? Currently I'm pursuing MBA in finance (final year) and have an experience of 1.5 years in US Accounting and undergone Investment Banking Internship of 3 months.
I joined mphasis a few days back. Now I have a better job opportunity (HCL) with 20% more. Can I exit in 20 days from mphasis with prior information or should I abscond, if i abscond what are the consequences
Controversial question - why is the EA population so heavily skewed towards the female gender?
How much WLB flexibility is there with MBB? As a junior level employee, do you have the freedom to step away for a few hours in the day for an appointment? What if you need to take a random Tuesday off?
How does work-life balance looks like at Amex as a Software Engineer? Also, what are the benefits that Amex offers in terms of health, vacation, etc. I will be joining as a Band 30

New to fishbowl. Anyone has any suggestions in terms of trade to make some money. I am fresh out of college and would be even happy to make $100/day or something. Thank you.
We did it boys!!! Offer secured 💯
Does anyone have any advice in regards to building your case as a Sourcing Specialist and how this role is vital on a talent acquisition team? Especially with 90-98 open reqs and at least 15-20 of those are immediate needs and the 3 recruiters on the team do not source their candidates on their own. I know my reasons but I’m curious if anyone has anything to say maybe I haven’t thought of that could be helpful for me to use, thank you!
Anyone else find it ridiculous that you have to befriend the sales associates, make small talks with them every so often, AND have a purchase history to buy professional SS Rolexes?
Has anybody had any experience with the boutique insurance litigation firm Miller Friel? Would love to hear your thoughts and insight.
DB fish, how’d Cryan treat you today?
This feels like kind of a weird question but does anyone ever feel bad for doing too well at work? I’ve recently had a few coworkers be really mean to me for getting chosen for opportunities that they wanted and for getting recognition for things that they wanted credit for alone. I know I’ve earned the opportunities and recognition but it sucks when everyone is tearing you down for it. I’ve also found it harder to relate to my friends who are mostly struggling financially right now.
This seems about right
So what’s the best agency right now, in terms of culture, work/life balance (lol), and work?
I’m currently working in Australia and I’m thinking of relocating to the UK next year. Just trying to get some insights on what the average salary for a senior BA would be in London. Also trying to figure out how likely I would survive financially because I’ve heard accomodation in London is quite expensive 😂
How much travel is there in Deloitte Internal Audit? Is it mostly local? Also what are the hours?

EY offer letter compensation structure doesn't have any mention of gratuity? But its written below that "beside this you will be eligible for gratuity". Will it be deducted from the given compensation or it will be given in addition to given compensation????
Has anyone here been able to recover from career setbacks caused by Dot Com, 9-11, or Great Recession economy? Just turned 40 with 15 years of relevant industry experience, and my Big 4 employer brought me in at a level designed for 25 year-olds. Career progression is apparently based on time in role rather than performance, so I’ll have to spend 8 years climbing back to the level I was at pre-recession. Is there another way, or is my career stuck in neutral?

Hello fellow professionals,
I am curious to know if Salesforce professionals is a good career option or not? How does one become a Salesforce professional in Marketing?
I’ve applied for several jobs at SF and I really want to work for them. Is it appropriate to proactively reach out to a recruiter in LinkedIn for assistance? I was recently promoted to Director to create and head our new Salesforce Marketing Cloud CoE. I have 25+ years experience in Telco managing IT Implementations/Software Dev/Business Solutions working with developers, architects. Mostly serving as TPM and Business architect. How’s the best way to get my foot in the door?
Out of curiosity, anyone work for/know of any European based consultancies hiring US based folks? I’m getting more interested in exploring options outside the US.
I’ve talked with one firm based in Geneva, and their benefit packages were stellar but they froze hiring.
I was reached out by a recruiter at PwC for salesforce position. The recruiter mentioned with my 3 YOE, all in consulting with 1 of it being in SF implementation, I would come in as experienced associate or maybe a senior associate. My understanding is associate is same as analyst as Deloitte. Is this correct? Also what’s the salary range I should aim for? I mentioned at least 120K total.
< 4 years of Salesforce experience. Got an offer that’s a 25% increase for a small company as a senior dev. Doesn’t seem challenging compared to consulting. Worth it or am I thinking too short term?

Looking for senior Salesforce developers/architects in the US! Joined my previous mentor in starting a new Salesforce practice. Company is based in SF but we’re ok with folks working remotely. Trying to get a SF certification, but can’t enter my biometrics. I downloaded Sentinel, but when I tried to click at enter biometrics, asked me for my credentials, I entered the admin credentials and then it says I’m a standard user and cannot proceed. Have you had that issue? Please help!!

What is a "product owner" who only has a 3 month tenure guaranteed? Is this a BA role with a fancy title?
It’s a blended role - BA but has to create and groom product backlog, some process flies, user stories, and some workshops
Idk, that's still a BA to me. Maybe if you are expecting them to operate more autonomously you could call them a "functional architect" but this seems waaaay off to refer to as a "product owner", who has way more responsibility and is not going to achieve any "product owner" goals in a 3-month window. Here's one description of such a role, not that SAFe is the end all be all: https://www.scaledagileframework.com/product-owner/#:~:text=The%20Product%20Owner%20(PO)%20is,or%20components%20for%20the%20team.
I understand! This is why I don’t like titles but it is what the hiring manager is calling it. I’ll try to focus more on posting the requirements.
These days I feel like most jobs are a blend or have a title that’s a little off. Either way I appreciate your help!
