On a fast track for promotion, and also have a good standing/reputation already within my MM bank so far. I also have a complicated visa situation that my bank is handling.
Not closed off but not really set on PE or anything.
Is it still worth starting fresh and likely a delayed promo at an EB?

My manager asked me to extend 15 days for travelling to Switzerland 15days since my work permit is processed already. Shall I stay back? Also how much hike i can expect in December?

I'm halfway through a contract position and enjoying it, and would like to transfer to full-time, but I worry about the 90-day gap in employment and that I wouldn't be able to find the same position remotely with this company. I've been on the hunt for my new adventure (not in that industry). I am finding it hard! Majority of the time I don't hear back. When I do get interviews, I get "we decided not to fill this role," or I get to the final round and am not selected. I am looking for advice on my resume and cover letter. At what point does “ego” stop mattering? Over the past 5 years I’ve worked my way to being an Account Manager, but ultimately my career goal is to work for the government. There’s an opportunity to be an admin assistant working for the government, and would be a nice way for me to get in and move up. But the title change from Account Manager to Assistant is a big deterrent. Logically I know that it doesn’t matter, but emotionally it’s hard to feel like I am taking a major career step back?
