Hi everyone, I joined EPAM Systems in India as Software Engineer. It's been already a month failed couple of internal interviews haven't got placed in a project. I'm preparing as much as I can. I'm feeling these internal interviews are bit tough. Question 1) Is it safe in EPAM if one is not in a project. How long can one stay in bench. 2) Is there a possibility one can get into a project without these interviews.

Has anyone also struggled to get on a project as a new hire? Doing all I can (I think) networking, volunteering, speaking to staffing manager etc but can't seem to get off the bench.

All I want for Christmas is to roll off this project 🎄🎅🏼🎁

What happens if I stop weightlifting for a month? How much progress will I lose? I’ve been training six times a week - 3 days running and 3 days lifting. I’m getting burnt out. I have a 10K race coming up (registered and all) so I don’t want to stop running. I started weightlifting in March but really committed in May/June. My lifts (3x10 reps) are currently: squat 115, bench 70, deadlift 90. I’m 5’1 125 lb female if it helps. I don’t want to lose all my progress but I need some type of a break

Hi fishes, I recently got an offer from Epam anywhere (Lead Software Engineer A4) - 30LPA and Uplers - 32LPA (offer being rolled out) So far i really like EPAM anywhere as an employer but overall CTC is not satisfactory.. I am aware of their 50k bench policy but i think i can ask for a fixed CTC as per the new salary structure (correct me if i am wrong here) Do you guys think i can counter EPAM anywhere with the higher offer. What's the salary range for Lead Software Engineer A4?@ TIA

Has anyone else silently quit their current job? I'm so mentally checked out (also currently on the bench). My manager has been trying to push me to find new roles but I could honestly care less. I've actually been working on getting out... I feel some level of guilt and anxiety but this isn't for me anymore.

Guys am really concerned about the EPB deduction.. I still have 75 days.. in NP But the responses am reading in various groups about EPB deduction is hilarious.. Thinking to get it confirmed from HR...!! If he says it will get deducted, I'll ask to shift me on bench as I don't see any point in working for a minute more for current project.. Is it normal to feel guilty and withdrawals after busy season? Being on the bench feels weird even though I know I’ve earned this free time after the past rough 5-6 months.
