I am planning to take my GMAT Exam in September.

My current project has ended and I will be going on bench on 12th August. Can I continue my bench time till 1st September to prepare for my exam? (I need 2.5 weeks of bench time)

If yes, how?

Is it okay to spend 3 years at a company and not get a major promotion (I just get the 2-3% yearly raise) or Should I start looking for another job? To be honest when I started at 70K I was overpaid for what I did, but now with the tasks I’m able to do I really feel underpaid, and I’ve let my manager know since last year but nothing has changed. Any tips please? PS: This was my first full time job, so I am not too familiar with the expectations/process

I joined IBM on 30 May 2022 but an still on bench.
I joined as a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O functional consultant and it seems like there are no F&O projects.

I got 2 calls for AX 2012(Older version of F&O) projects but having worked only in F&O, I do not want to switch to an older version of the ERP. And I had made this clear during my interview itself.

Is there any chance of getting fired? Its scaring me now to be honest.

Been in house for about a year. I just found out that a new hire who has 1-2 less years of experience than me (but will have the same role/title as me) received a compensation package significantly higher than me, mostly due to the market dynamics with law firm associates’ compensation being ratcheted up the past year. Can I ask for an equitable raise mid year? And if so, how? I got rave reviews but an immaterial pay bump (3%) at year end in December.

How much time does it take to get a project? I am a new joiner and i am on bench for the last 3 weeks.

What will happen if i do not get a project for the month? Will i get my salary?

How do you ask for a raise? If you exceed all expectations, and more? It’s been over 15 months?

Is the extra effort you need to put into a promotion to SM + the additional responsibilities you get i.e. sales targets once you are at SM worth it, comparing to M. I am on 82base + car allowance. Wondering if the additional 20k?? a year are worth it?

I love the company I currently work, amazing environment and culture, I feel good in there. BUT, I’m underpaid and they know it! Their excuse is that I reached the top of my pay grade and they don’t have any open position to promote me (even though my job, workload and responsibilities are way above all my pairs)… But every time I see a job on LinkedIn (sometimes paying 2x more) the promise about my promotion come to haunt me. So, at the end, is it about the money or about feeling good? 🤷‍♀️
