I have only seen visa workers informing current company once H1B VISA transfer is approved.

Any suggestions on how to get an counter offer from current company?

My parents are both immigrants. My mom was orphaned at age 7 and moved to the US after feeling like she had no future in her country. My dad won a visa lottery months before completing his economics degree abroad but came to the US for a better life. They both work hard and things have not been easy. Today I got to take them to a nice dinner to celebrate my first 6 figure salary. They said this is the better life they came here for. I’m beyond grateful.

Legal team is asking for notarized copy of letter of employment confirmation (LOEC) in support of green card process. Does this really need to be notarized? Former colleagues and supervisors have provided LOECs with their signatures, contact info and a note on why the letters are not being provided on company letterhead. I don’t want to ask colleagues to go to a notary unless the risk of getting hit with RFE is real.

Had final rounds for BCG today for junior associate role w/ a Project Lead and Partner
Partner interview went horribly wrong in the case portion. The guy was super tough and I grossly misunderstood the question. Calculations were fine. Didn't have time for questions however he told me to arrange a follow up call with him
Project Lead interview went amazingly well. Fit was great and we ended up talking about football! I found the case super easy too.

I don't know how to feel. Would I get dinged
