Spent 4+ years as CMO of startup company. It was an incredible learning experience but also a very difficult uphill battle trying to steer the owners and the company in the right direction. I’ve just exited the company as of 11/18. The owners expected to storm the marketplace and emerge as a number one brand at only 6 years old without putting in the work.Company had a very hard time understanding the concept of a unique value proposition. Hoping to find a new remote (full time) position ASAP

Can you please suggest the roles one can get in Microsoft if they are coming from a management consulting background?

Chances are they know the purpose of the call. Just speak candidly and honestly. Tell them what you're looking for and your experience and ask if you would be a fit at their org.
Since you know it is a call to talk about the role, I would go about it as an informational interview. Toward the end of the call/conversation, let them know you are interested and ask how you can apply. They could give you a referral link to apply or they could ask you to send them your resume to pass along.
Good luck!
Sorry to hear this! Good luck! Be sure that they are able to meet your needs as well. Don’t just take anything I know times are hard but remember your worth! It is best to be honest and open. This way expectations are not set that will not be met.

Remember that you are interviewing them as well. You want to understand why the opportunity is available. What is the day-to-day like? Is it expected that you respond to communications after hours? Things of this nature....
Thank you for your advice!
