What made you feel life was “worth it” again?
It’s totally different with everyone. The testing of prescription sucks but it’s so worth it when you find what works for you. Good luck!
I don’t think you can avoid it. Everyone reacts differently to meds. Took my son 2 yrs to hit the right combo/dosage. He’s on lexapro & seroquel xr .
I was on lamictal and Wellbutrin for years, and the combo worked well for me. Now I’m coming off the lamictal, which has been pretty rough, and I added Prozac into the mix. Will probably have to up the Prozac once I’m off lamictal entirely, but coming off it is a super slow process (25mg decrease every two weeks—I started at 200 and am down to 75 at this point).
I take Seroquel. It was tough to get right. I was initially over medicated and felt sedated. I would actually fall asleep at work. I'm not at a healthy dose where I feel grounded and stable without lethargy
