Interviewed with a firm yesterday. I’m a second year, practicing primarily in family/criminal. They asked me if I would be willing to take a lower salary to start because i have no experience in the area they practice (education, employment, etc). Not sure how to feel about being asked to basically take a clerk position for an indefinite period. Is this common?

My current job where I'm a Business int. Analyst at a startup, my total salary is $62k (started at 57k & got a 5k bonus after 1st year). In 4-5 months I'm going to get a promotion once I complete 2 yrs, assuming it'll bring the total salary to be around $70-75K
Recently got an offer from a FANG comp. The offer is $66K base, 17K sign-on bonus in 1st year & 12k in 2nd year & RSUs valued at $40k vesting: 4 years
I think the new offer is quite low, expecting base to be at-least $80k.

I am currently working in Delhi Ncr and i am getting offer for Mumbai Location. Can you please let me know how much salary percentage I can expect ? Considering I will be moving from tier 2 to tier 1 city. The company is offering me 43% hike on fixed salary. My current fixed salary is 8 lacs

Curious to know which offer you would take and other considerations (both are fully remote):

Offer 1: Product Manager, seed round start up, $170K base, $20k annual bonus target, options currently valued at $56k with 4 year vest.

Offer 2: Director of Revenue Operations, privately held global company (11 years old), $240k base, $20k annual bonus target, no equity.

Salary comparison between DAT Manager vs Cyber/Risk/Reg Manager?

Got an offer that’s slightly lower than I’d hoped, the company asked me for a bonus number that would work for me. How do I decide so I don’t leave $ on the table but still realistic? Base is $150k.

I’ve got about seven years of experience as an AE in the tech and finance space. I think I’m ready for for a jump into the Senior AE realm. What is a reasonable expectation for comp at a Saas company? According to Glassdoor it seems I could expect anywhere from120k-160k base and 180k-225k ote.

Considering an exit to a startup that just completed a solid series B. They’re willing to provide competitive comp package and surprised how large the base is for a startup. I know there are definitely worse out there so it’s hard to put my foot down and resign, I could just stick it out for a year but am feeling demotivated and too exhausted to do anything else but sleep after hours/weekends. I am a TA leader and report into HR. There is an internal opportunity reporting into another group that would be an excellent growth opportunity for me, directly reporting into TA. My supervisor and I do not have the best relationship and believe our personalities clash. I need to tell my supervisor I am interested in exploring this opportunity, but I am nervous of retaliation and manipulative tactics as I have seen in the past. Applicants including pictures of themselves in digital resumes. why is this becoming so common? Is there a source of advice out there suggesting applicants should include photos of themselves when applying? Personally, I strongly dislike the practice.

I’m beyond discouraged right now. I’ve applied to countless jobs, had multiple interviews, a few final round interviews, and no offers. I know I’m a good employee and have enough experience, so I don’t understand why it’s so difficult. I have a job, but I work for a nonprofit and the earning potential is low. I need to be earning more.

Anybody who has felt maxed out in recruitment? What do you do? Do you try other industries first but stay in recruitment or do you try to change positions with more diversity of tasks? I now feel that everything I do is the same old, and although they say I am doing a good job, it is also a constant stress daily for applicants not showing up, failing pre-employment requirements, etc and I wonder if this is also present in other areas of HR.

What would you do if you found out an executive was speaking poorly about you and your work performance to other employees? Is this a case where you would get HR involved? Have a conversation with the individual? Let it go? The comments are confirmed to have happened at an event that the offended party was planning/running, and the exec said negative comments to two other people at the company about the event and their work, and also said the person looked “too stressed.”

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

My manager recently informed me that the HRBP team wants me join their team permanently and asked if I would be interested in this mobility move. When I asked her about the comp, she said it would be a lateral move, so won’t be a comp change until year end. Great opportunity but know I will be underpaid. Thoughts?

Now I got married and moved to UK , plus we have got a baby in 2019 so now I am looking for a job in UK having 3 years of career break. Although, I am getting CIPD lvl 7 diploma this year. I am not ready for team leader's role now . So my question is about HR area, where could I find a job with my only Russian experience? HR generalist, C&B analyst, HR BP, recruiter?
