I was counseled out my last job. After grinding for about 3 months, I was able to land a position with a 50% pay bump. After the initial relief, I am now dreading going back to work. At my last job, I was having regular panic attacks. I’m worried that my mental health will relapse after I start working again.

Should I keep my new job or boomerang back to my old job? The new job pays 50K more base, 25K more bonus and I get 40K a year consulting for the old job so around 115K difference in cash (not counting equity).

So why even consider going back to the old job? The new job keeps me busy 12+ hours a day while the old job is a coast at 1-2 hours a day max.

My idea is not to enjoy the free time and sit on my *ss, but to figure out side gigs, passive income streams or even start a startup. (more)

If I get to the offer stage, I assume they will offer me the lower end of my range and of course I don’t want to sound ungrateful or greedy, but is there a way to negotiate to a little higher?

I have a Bachelors in Science in Organizational Administration, and my current role is an Operations Manager with 3+ years in e-commerce space. Is this realistic? And if so, anyone hiring?

Annual reviews are held September thru October at my current company. I started in July so I did not receive one last year. These reviews determine promotions, raises and bonus amounts. Earlier this year I received an added responsibility of managing someone and it came with a small salary increase. I guess my question is do you think this salary bump means I will not receive a raise? I personally feel like the salary increase solely covers the new responsibilities attached to managing.

Any Big 4 consulting (manager, not senior manager level) here? I am curious to see what others are making. A recruiter reached out to me about a Workday consulting manager role with the Big 4 and is trying to avoid giving me a straight answer when I asked him to share the range for the position. Position is US based - Remote.
