Hi everyone! I will be graduating soon and start working in Seattle this upcoming august. I’m currently thinking about having a roommate or two because of how expensive Seattle is and was curious, how do people usually look for compatible roommates? Also, if you’re living in a 1bd 1ba, would you consider it worth the price to live alone?

You can look into online platforms like Roomster, Craigslist, or even social media groups dedicated to housing in Seattle. I would also suggest asking your friends, relatives, or neighbors if they know someone who resides in Seattle. This way you might save some time.

Came across the concept of “cash envelope stuffing” on youtube. Seems like a pretty good concept to avoid overspending on each category of expenses.
I am trying to get some ideas to incorporate this concept using multiple bank accounts/ cards. Where I allocate a set budgeted amount of money each month, to each bank account tagged for a specific category (groceries, vacation, emergency fund, etc). Is this something you have tried or have any ideas on how to go about it? Do you recommend this?

Applied to transfer to another property, found out that my manager told their manager that I had attendance issues, which she has never talked to me about and even said recently that I don’t have any attendance issues. I have been late by about 10 minutes a couple times when the bus is late, and have had to take a couple of emergency sick days, but I’m usually in the office before her. I technically shouldn’t know that she said it at all so I have no idea how to approach her about it.
