Hey all! I am in the middle of interviewing at a healthcare data startup. I've gone through 3 if 5 rounds so far and it seems promising. I originally asked for 180-200k base salary since it's a director level role and I'm coming with ~9 YOE. They said that is at the very top of their budget so I'm looking for tips on how to navigate that conversation and if that comp seems reasonable?

What are exit opportunities for Technology Strategy and Transformation besides consulting companies?

I feel like there are very few roles and companies that would find value in the strategy work I do, especially for non executive level roles.

Out of curiosity, what are exit opportunities for those in the tax field? Can we also transition easily to other pursuits such as Wealth Managemnt/IB or Consulting?

Does audit/advisory have an easier transition into other roles as compared to those in tax? Or is it an un-said thing that we are on equal footing?

Do I need a new H1B Stamping? I extended my visa last year (new expiration date: 2024 Summer) and got my visa stamped accordingly. Since then, I changed firms and transferred my visa, which now has a different expiration date (i.e 2024 Winter). I honestly don’t know why the date got longer with just a transfer. Anyway, would I need to get my visa stamped again since the date of current i797-A (winter 2024) is different from my previous i797-A/latest visa stamp?
