Cognizant gave me offer letter based on my relevant experience of 41 months, however when I filled the BGV, the total experience came out to be 57 months. I wrote to HRs but no response from them.

What are your success stories about succession planning? I was hired as a lateral to work on/help sustain a retiring partner's book of business. During my interview in 2017, he said his target retirement would be 2019-2021. Now, after a good 2020 (for our practice area), he mused that he might not retire until 2025. I don't want him to feel pushed out, and have a lot to learn from him, but I do want to help/plan handoff of work. Interested in guidance for how to have these conversations!

Hey Guys, My Joining is in first week of November and my HR yesterday dropped me a mail that I can buy any laptop one month prior to joining as $1100 would be reimbursed, and I called her and asked her can I buy as of today from the ongoing sales and she told that yeah that’s OK you can go ahead.
Shall I buy now or shall I wait until 1st week of October as she has specified on mail?

I have an offer from JPMC for FP&A role with 14 lac fixed pay. Total yoe experience that i have is 3years. My existing company is promoting me to senior level and the package is almost matching to 14. Can i counter the offer at JP with new CTC letter? What is decent package that JPMC offers to this role.
