Hi All!
I am currently a Senior Software Engineer(Backend) with 4 YOE. My current CTC is 21LPA (All Fixed) with additional Yearly bonus. I got a call from Google (Pune/Bangalore/ Remote) for Software Engineer - Backend. I have the following doubts but any insights are welcome -
1. Does the lower designation offered make any difference?
2. Kinda ambiguous, but what kind of hike or ballpark pay can I expect?
3. Any similar interviews experiences or focus areas I should prepare for?

EY GDS, she will receive good bonus plus market correction also happens in EY and when she leaves EY the exit opportunities are great.
Dont just think of bonus..you will have good 30-35 years to earn money..think of what you going to learn..and what you going to take to table to other organization when you exit..
What is use of 3 years of EY GDS experience if you had just goofed up around MS excel..you will have to struggle alot in next organization where you have learn technology from scratch..so its better to learn something in initial years of your career and then look for companies like EY GDS..otherwise you will just end up as another fish in pond rather than shark of ocean..

For experience level it is hectic and if you're a lead then you have to work like a manager to manage resources under you and take all the decisions related to upcoming story and task break and all ...
How come they are offering that low. Virtusa offers 5lpa to the freshers and EY 4.5L and No idea about IBS.
Anyways what tech stacks are being offered.
Work culture of EY is not good as per my friends who have worked there
EY gds should be the preferred option here
Fresher all companies you need to go through the same grind until you get some experience
Virtuasa
Will vote for EY.. Good culture and growth with market corrections.
Go for EY in terms if growth.
EY gds
There will be no expectations in terms of project deliverables so she can learn a lot compared to mnc
And pay hikes are good in EY. As far i heard.later as career progress she can get into mnc for better wlb
Disagreed
Go for the company which offers good technology!!
In EY GDS you will just play with excel, no one will train you to work on technology, Virtusa is best option you have
Moreover, no one even bothers about the fact that you learn something in EY GDS
Senior management just wants to make you feel inferior to them as they have more experience which they show off at every point, they will not teach you anything at EY GDS, and their trainings are of no use, and then they will just point out your mistakes to make you lesser confident
EY GDS is not the place to start your career
