But I'm looking to change career paths in the field of electrical engineering and wanted to read any advice from those who were or are in the early stages of transition in their career and what were some things you all did to make yourself ready or a bit more prepared. For more context I'm an electrical designer for an MEP firm but want to get into product development as a product design engineer.

I know consulting isn’t a long term career option for me, but I have no 1, 3, 5 nor 10 year plan/idea.
Did you join consulting with a timeframe/plan?

Copywriters turned suits / strategists. Any tips on how you went about it? And did the new role consider your previous experience? Looking at doing the switch once the hiring freezes are over. ✌️

What advice would you give? 5 years MBB from undergrad (non-US), have an M7 offer, have MBB sponsorship offer, but I’m not enjoying the job anymore and dread the thought of another 2 years post-MBA

Can anyone who currently holds the CoS title share what the pathway looked like for them to get there including prior roles and education background as well as the organization you work for (if comfortable) as this title seems to be rapidly phasing out. Would be super insightful for those still trying to get there to understand what the path could look like and where opportunities still exist besides government

Why not invest in your professional development by seeking a coach or mentor or even pay for professional resources that would help? I’m a Junior product manager with a Master’s in Healthcare Management. I feel like the current company that I am at has my title as JPM, but I am doing PM work i.e creating product roadmaps, collaborating across stakeholders (business, marketing, design teams), creating user stories/features, etc. and I feel like my work isn’t being valued and I’m constantly being micromanaged by business teams expectations.

How do you deal with loud neighbors that you share a wall with? They live in the building directly next to mine so can’t go knock on their door. They’re usually not too bad just parties some weeknights which is super understandable. But they’ve been blasting music since 10am and I can’t focus on work.

Where can I go with my credentials?
I am a loan officer in consumer lending, so finance auto loans, credit cards, HELOCs and personal loans for a top credit union.
I handle close to a 100 applications a month, fund around 5 million, there is a sales aspect and I speak to the members so customer service. Now, I truly want to be at a big name like Discover or Amex but don’t see anything like my role there. I make 6 figures , and NMLS for reference. Any advice on how to continue growing?

Looking to change my career a little- I've been in Investment Management Ops for years now but I am craving a change, thinking of staying in finance but wanting a role that is more data analysis oriented where you work on solving issues vs working on daily repetitive tasks.
