I have recently joined new organisation where my offer is 18fixed + 1.8variable.

I was having CTC of 8lpa in my previous organisation.

How could be the tax calculation for this year? How the tax is computed with 2 different CTC's? In which tax slab I would come under as per old regime?

I have joined in Oct with new organisation. Till Sept I was with old organization.

Curious about the culture and workings at Slalom, does anyone have insight here?

Payroll people this question is for you! I recently got approval for a pay adjustment and was told the new rate would take effect 7/17 pay period. I still have to sign off on my time card from last pay period with old rate and boss has to submit tomorrow. My employee portal still shows old rate even though new rate was supposed to take effect today 7/17. Should I be concerned or will new rate populate after I get paid on Wednesday?

I will be going back to work after a STD leave due to stress (both personal & professional). I feel like I'm ready and am looking forward to work even. Today I was told that the insurance company recommends a gradual return to work (3h/d ) for the first few weeks. Now I'm nervous about how that will be perceived by my practice, which focuses on chargeability. I'd rather go back at a 100% capacity to avoid any negative perception. Hello guys,

I got an offer with a 60% hike and they asked me to reply to them with my resignation letter by tomorrow morning, only then they would proceed further.
I haven't resigned yet and am waiting for 2 more companies to reply about the offer.
Though after 2 months my appraisal period there so there are chances that my current company can retain me with the amount of offer letter.
So my question is how can I hold the current offer, like any excuse that feels valid & hold offer for 2 weeks.
